Biography
Yves Bauer is a doctoral assistant and PhD student at the University of Neuchâtel’s pole of innovation and intellectual property. He is interested in the interactions of ICTs with the law, especially in the fields of data protection and copyright law. Several projects allowed him to gather experience in these domains. Examples are the Safecloud project, a H2020 project, that aimed at providing secure and confidential data processing in the cloud and the CCDL project funded by swissuniversities that aims at helping researchers in dealing with legal questions in relation to the digitalization process as well as the use of new media and technologies. Furthermore he is involved in a project called DMLawTool, which helps researchers dealing with legal aspects that may occur while processing and archiving data for their research.
