Julian Durrer
ZHAW
Experiences from the DLCM pilot projects and possible implications for research data management at universities (of applied sciences)
Julian Durrer is a scientific assistant in the polymer department at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). He has a degree in chemistry with a focus towards the industrial sector. In his work at the ZHAW he has worked in different projects mainly in the synthesis and purification of polymer based materials and the characterisations of surfaces. He is the current project leader in the polymer department for the implementation of openBIS. This entails, coordination between ETH and ZHAW, teaching, experiment input controlling and automation of data processing.
