Biography

Genevieve Joullie Dardier is Research Data Specialist at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland (HES SO). Prior to this appointment, she was Assistant Professor in Ocean Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology (Hoboken, USA) and Senior Data Engineer for a private energy company. Her research and teaching interests include research data, ocean and glacier observation systems and community resilience. She is involved in the training and consulting part of the Data Life Cycle Management (DLCM) project as well as with Open Science issues at the HES-SO. She holds a B.S and a M.S degree in Physics from the EPFL and a PhD in Telecommunications from the National Telecom Institute in Paris, Telecom-Paristech.
